Solid Waste FAQs
Does the MRF offer document shredding?

Yes, document shredding is offered for a fee at the Material Recovery Facility. Documents are accepted at the MRF, stored in secure containers, and sent off-site for shredding. The fee is $5.00 per container, with a maximum container size of 10" x 12" x 15" (a standard bankers box). A maximum of three containers may be delivered each week. If you have more than three containers please call (715) 345-5970 to make arrangements.
How do I dispose of motor oil or antifreeze?

Motor oil and antifreeze are free to dispose of, but must be in containers 2.5 gallons or less with a closed cap. If you wish to have your container emptied and returned please call 715-346-1931 to make an appointment.
